PEER GYNT wins 4 Awards at the
Critics’ Awards for Theatre in Scotland 2008.
Dundee Rep Theatre and The National Theatre of Scotland are delighted to announce its production of PEER GYNT has won 4 awards at the CATS(Critics Awards for Theatre in Scotland) awards held in Glasgow on 15th June 2008.
Keith Fleming and Gerry Mulgrew won the award jointly for Best Male Performance.
Naomi Wilkinson picked up the award for the Best Design
Dominic Hill won the Best Director Award
Dundee Rep and The National Theatre of Scotland won Best Production

Sunshine on Leith wins Prestigious Awards
Dundee Rep Theatre are delight to announce that the hit musical Sunshine on Leith has won two awards at the prestigious TMA (Theatrical Management Association) Awards. Artistic Director and Chief Executive James Brining pick up Best Musical Production and Dundee Rep Ensemble actress Ann Louise Ross won an award for Best Performance in a Supporting Rolein a Musical for her role as Jean Henshaw in Scotland’s newest musical, Sunshine on Leith, which features the songs of The Proclaimers,.
James Brining said ‘I'm absolutely delighted that we have won the Best Musical Award. Sunshine on Leith was a huge undertaking for us and was a massive success not just in Dundee but also on tour. We're planning to remount the show at some point next year, so hopefully, this award will help boost interest in it still further.’
