Balgay Hill has now opened and has been going really well. This innovating production weaves the stories of four fictional characters into the real life story of The Associates front man, Billy Mackenzie - the result being an exciting, moving and musically inspired production.
Since rehearsals started, it has become very clear that lots of people have and want to tell their stories about Billy Mackenzie, The Associates and Dundee in the 80s and we want to hear them!
If you've got a story, comment back to this blog and tell us all about it - if you have any photos that you'd like to share, please send them to us by clicking here. The photos and stories will then become part of the front of house display when the show is on (from 9 - 27 June).
Go on...get thinking and share your story!

Went to see this show last night with my husband and despite hearing numerous negative comments regarding it, we thoroughly enjoyed it. It helped be from Dundee or to have lived here most of your life (my husband) as there were numerous local references which would have no meaning to "outsiders". One funny moment with totally terrible timing was when a lady from the audience tried to leave presumably for the toilet, lost her way and ended up walking onto the stage. This was just as Sinead was talking about Billy's death! The audience couldn't stop giggling! Understandably the lady in question never return to the auditorium!
